Abstract

Resource management is an important factor in supporting the sustainability of organizations and business activities. A proper understanding of short-term and long-term resources is necessary to ensure that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. This community service activity aims to improve public understanding of the concepts, characteristics, and management strategies of short-term and long-term resources in supporting organizational and business activities. The methods used in this activity include socialization, educational sessions, interactive discussions, and assistance to participants. The activity was conducted by presenting material related to resource management, followed by discussions to identify problems commonly faced by participants in managing the resources they possess.

The results of the activity indicate that participants experienced an increase in their understanding of the differences between short-term and long-term resources and the importance of strategic planning in their utilization. Participants also began to understand the importance of human resource development, the use of technology, and integrated planning in managing resources in a sustainable manner. The findings show that strengthening knowledge and practical understanding of resource management can help participants apply more effective management strategies in their organizations or business activities.

In conclusion, a good understanding of short-term and long-term resource management can improve the effectiveness of organizational or business management and support the achievement of goals in a more structured and sustainable manner.
