Author Guidelines

Manuscript Formatting

  1. Font and Spacing

    • The manuscript should be written in Arial, 11pt for the body text.

    • Abstract should be written in Arial, 10pt.

    • Title should be written in Arial, 14pt, Bold, with each word capitalised, and centred.

    • Margins: Use 3 cm margins on all sides

  2. Title Page Formatting

    • The title should be centred and written in Arial, 14pt, Bold, Capitalise Each Word.

    • The authors' names should be listed below the title (without academic titles), followed by their affiliations (maximum of 5 authors).

      Example:

      • Title (Arial, 14pt, Bold, Capitalised Each Word, Centre)

      • First Author's Name (without title)¹, Second Author's Name², Third Author's Name³, etc.

      • ¹Department/Faculty/Programme, Institution, City, Country

      • ²Department/Faculty/Programme, Institution, City, Country

  3. Abstract Formatting

    • The abstract should be written in Arial, 10pt, between 150-250 words.

    • It should include a brief background, research objectives, methodology, key results, and the main conclusion, along with the research’s contribution to the field.

    Example:

    • The abstract should summarise the research in a concise, factual, and informative manner, covering the background, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.

  4. Manuscript Body

    • The body of the manuscript should be written in Arial, 11pt.

    • Headings: Use Arial, 11pt, Bold, for main headings (e.g., Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion) and subheadings (e.g., Background, Research Objectives, etc.).

    • Paragraphs: Indent the first line of each paragraph by 0.5 inches.

    • Spacing: The entire manuscript, including headings, should be double-spaced.

  5. Figures and Tables

    • All figures and tables should be placed in the manuscript after the first mention.

    • Use Arial, 10pt for figure/table captions.

    • Each figure or table should have a title and a source (if applicable).

    • The captions should be clear and concise, and tables should not exceed the page width.

    • Figures should be submitted in high-resolution format (preferably TIFF or JPEG).

  6. References

    • The reference list should follow the APA style (7th Edition).

    • References should include all necessary details such as author(s), year of publication, title, journal/book title, volume/issue, page numbers, and DOI (if available).

    • Minimum of 20 references from reputable and recent sources (within the last five years) should be included.

    Example of APA citation:

    • Smith, J. (2021). The Impact of Social Media on Communication. Oxford University Press.

    • Johnson, R., & Lee, K. (2022). "Machine Learning in Healthcare: A Review." Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research, 59(3), 45-67. https://doi.org/xxxxx

Submission Mechanism

  1. OJS Submission Process

    • Manuscripts should be submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

    • Authors must submit two separate files:

      • Manuscript: This includes the main body of the text, references, tables, figures, and any supplementary materials.

      • Title Page: This file should contain the title, authors' names (without titles), affiliations, and contact information. The title page should not include the abstract or manuscript content.

  2. File Formatting

    • All submitted files should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. The manuscript should be well-organised, with the title page in a separate file.

  3. Ethical Considerations

    • Authors must ensure that the manuscript is original and has not been published or under consideration elsewhere.

    • Proper acknowledgment of sources and ethical guidelines must be followed, particularly with respect to the handling of data and the privacy of research participants.

Review and Publication Process

  • Upon submission, the manuscript will undergo a peer review process to assess its quality and relevance.

  • Authors will be notified of the review outcomes and any revisions needed.

  • After acceptance, the article will be prepared for publication and authors will be required to pay the publication fee (if applicable).

Final Notes

  • Language: The manuscript should be written in clear, academic English. If necessary, authors can seek professional language editing services before submission.

  • Revisions: Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript based on feedback from peer reviewers or the editorial team.

  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts submitted to the journal must comply with plagiarism standards. Any submission found to contain plagiarised content will be rejected.
